French Stockman’s 2.0 Knife

French Stockman’s 2.0 Knife

The “French Stockman’s 2.0 knife” is also known as the Le Capuchadou (Pronounced: “Lay capu ja dou”). It originated from Southern France in the early 19th century and predates the Laguiole (Pronounced: “Lay ull”) knife. The “Le Capuchadou”, was developed by workers to perform the many tasks involved in the care and handling of livestock and the general demands of everyday tasks. The modern Le Capuchadou is easily identified by the “Cloverleaf symbol” mounted on the top of the lock. It’s a sturdy but elegant knife. It comes with an “all leather” sheath and can be easily attached to your belt or keep in your pocket or stored in a purse. The knife has been refined over many decades to become an excellent knife for both indoor and outdoor activities. The blade comes in 440c stainless steel and Damascus 1095 and 15n20 steel. The knife is hand made in Pakistan according to our unique Red Duck Knives brand specifications.
